In fact, we know that a significant portion of your learning process comes from your interactions and collaborative learning activities with your peers. When thinking of a university campus, people often only imagine classrooms and laboratories.
However, university life is a vibrant period where a young person not only attends classes but also socializes, and develops themselves in terms of knowledge, culture, and communication. At AGÜ, we do not only prepare classroom, library, and laboratory environments where you will receive an internationally high-quality education. We also offer you a rich, fun, and safe environment where you will create your best memories with your friends.
For this purpose, we chose the "Sümer Campus," which was the first industrial site of our Republic, symbolizing our economic development in the 20th century, and now, in the 21st century, will host the scientific advancement of our country. Our campus, located in the city center of Kayseri, is being built as a campus that will make an impact both in Turkey and the world, with its green spaces and modern educational concept within a historical setting. Our Sümer Campus, with its restaurants, cafes, sports fields, museums, and educational and research facilities, has already started receiving international awards (World Architecture Festival, 2012).
Student Village
AGÜ is aware that university life is a whole, not just about education and research but also what it offers in daily life. Get ready to encounter an accommodation service far beyond the traditional definition of a dormitory. The areas composed of aesthetic stone buildings with a 70-year history, located right next to the Sümer Campus, are not referred to as dormitories.
We invite you to stay in our special stone houses, where you can stay in single or double rooms. These stone houses, with their green and spacious gardens, provide an elegant living space structured to meet your modern needs, where you will enjoy living. Each apartment has common study and relaxation areas, offering you a unique living experience.
Green Campus
In addition to its historical character, the most important feature of the Sümer Campus is that it is a green campus. The facilities, located in a 180-acre garden covered with 80-year-old trees, offer a campus life far from stress. You will enjoy walking and spending time in this green campus, which is designed to be traffic-free. Moreover, this relaxing and green area is right next to the student village where you will spend the rest of your day.
Food and Drink
Located in the heart of the city, the Sümer Campus, with its green spaces, historical texture, modern, and contemporary interior design, is being developed not only as a focal point for our university but also as an attraction for the city.
Like in successful American universities worldwide, the campus was designed to be part of city life without compromising on security.

Clubs
A university should be an environment that develops individuals in all dimensions, not just with knowledge. AGÜ places special importance on clubs, which are considered as tools for empowering young people, enabling them to express themselves freely, and contributing actively to university life. It is important to us that you form clubs and organize activities in all areas of interest. The university is aware that clubs enrich the student activities that guarantee a lively campus life, and it will support and prepare the necessary environment for students' on-campus and off-campus activities. When considered alongside the "Youth Program" that you will participate in from your first year, clubs will play an important role in helping you acquire the individual competencies we seek in our graduates.
A Campus Enriched with Culture and Art
AGÜ believes that individuals do not attend university solely to earn a diploma but also to gain vital skills in all dimensions. For this reason, in addition to scientific activities and education, the university provides opportunities for students to develop and acquire cultural and artistic dimensions that enrich the individual. From your first year, you will be able to use the event space, which includes a main conference hall, three independent and combinable workshop rooms, and a large foyer, for scientific, artistic, or cultural events in our new world-class campus. You will also have plenty of outdoor event areas in the green campus. With the addition of museums and exhibition spaces that will make a nationwide impact in a short time, you will experience a vibrant campus life.

Sports and Outdoor Activities
Another feature that makes the Sümer Campus unique is that, in addition to the sports fields in its close surroundings, it also houses various sports facilities.
These include a fitness-conditioning room with state-of-the-art fixed weight machines, free weights, and cardio equipment (treadmills, bikes, cross-trainers, rowers), a step-aerobics, yoga, and Pilates studio, and a Far Eastern martial arts studio (designed for kickboxing, aikido, taekwondo, judo, etc.). The campus also features walking and cycling paths surrounded by greenery.
Outdoor tennis courts, basketball, volleyball, and football fields are available for our students.
In addition, a wide range of courses organized by the School of Physical Education and Sports (BESYO) (Skiing, Snowboarding, Tennis, Ice Skating, Table Tennis, Golf, Horse Riding, Modern Dance, Turkish Folk Dances, Step-Aerobics, Orienteering, Archery, Darts, and Nature-Health Walks) are open to our students' participation.
