AGÜ Computer Engineering third-year students Burak Samet Varel, Mustafa Ergut, Alperen Yılmaz, and Vedat Ayaz participated in TEKNOFEST with their "Smart Wi-Fi Optimization" project, supervised by Dr. Burak Kolukısa. Their project reached the competition's finals and will participate in the event scheduled for August-September.
The Smart Wi-Fi Coverage Competition aims to improve Wi-Fi technology performance due to the extraordinary increase in smart devices and internet content in homes. The competition involves using LIDAR sensors for indoor mapping and optimally positioning CPEs (Customer Premises Equipment) based on collected data.
Project Manager Vedat Ayaz noted this as the first Turkcell-supported TEKNOFEST competition and emphasized its significance. He expressed gratitude to Dr. Burak Kolukısa for supporting the team's participation.
